So true. We buried our mom on Feb 21st, the life cover from the pink insurance company want medical records from 2013 until 2018 and from a doctor that longer operate. The list of required documents are too many but life cover from the green insurance company where was she fully underwritten paid within 24 hours, funeral paid within 4 hours

My chomie I love this. Siblings and parents need to have meetings where they discuss taking out life covers for each other. When someone dies there’s a lump some that can elevate the family. Families that don’t do this make me angry

I also would like to add that getting a life cover without a full financial needs analysis and financial planning in place is not effective. When you engage with your financial advisor/financial planner please make sure they do a proper financial needs analysis with you. Life cover is not a one size fits all band aid, there needs to be a strategy and structure in place for it.
