man.. if that didn't go smoothly... next you're going to say you lost your sidearm or primary or.. maybe you couldn't draw for safety reasons, I'm sure it's possible to be safe in the area. Yet you never know what enemies may be lurking around said area. When you reach land probably should be drawn. But maybe was in shock, maybe was confident enough to know where they were at what shores/land was friendly. I don't know could've been worse.
