Spray tan artist here; please ask your artist before doing this because you could stop the development of your tan completely especially if you are told no soap or lotion for first rinse

Idk why some spray tan artists are chirping in the comments bc unless it’s a rapid (and she said 12 hour rinse in the video), the the DHA reaction has largely completed inside the skin cells, so lotion won’t block development

The scaliness of your skin is the preparation prior to a spray. Tan prep is super important!
