“Nobody wants to feel like they’re about to hurt someone or they are hurting someone” I don’t think that statement is entirely accurate. There are are some very sadistic and twisted people who get some kind of enjoyment or thrill out of hurting others. Yes leaving someone is often premeditated.

After the three months should I contact them again (they maybe would want to contact me but pride could get in the way) or should I just completely not contact him again? I said some mean things to him when he broke up with me and even though I apologised I worry he would still be thinking about that

She said the most vulnerable thing she had ever said. Then went into deactivation mode shortly after and then blocked me after I broke no contact and we had a really good day of talking resulting in her admitting we fit back easily. 5 weeks later still feels rough.

My ex and I had been together for five years. He was very affectionate, and it’s true that in the last few months we had grown quite distant. He broke up with me from one day to the next (February 1st). I know he had been thinking about it, even though he says he hadn’t. It’s true that I have humiliated myself quite a bit, and I suppose that may have boosted his ego and made him treat me more coldly. He admits that he didn’t act completely right. He asked me for some time to think about himself, but without clearly defining how long, which doesn’t seem entirely fair to me because it leaves me in a state of uncertainty. I know he hasn’t had an easy time with this situation either, but I will respect the time he needs. February 27th is actually the date since we stopped seeing each other. The thing is, his birthday is on May 6th. Should I wish him a happy birthday or not? I care about him, but I also don’t want him to see it as me still being focused on him. What do you recommend I do?

How do I go into non contact if we work together and we still plan to move to another country together? We want to move together still due to financial reasons, I’m going there to study and she’s going there to work. This will be in mid to end July

I begged him to stay and fight for me because it was my best relationship. I realized that begging and pleading didn’t make him see my worth, so I decided to block him and pour back into myself. I miss him a lot, but baby steps I guess.
