I don’t get why some people are arguing about the trust smh. The children get it all and that’s who should get it after the father dies, it’s where HE wanted it to go. Anyone can set a trust up and give the money to whoever they want.

In Australia and UK all assets of married ppl are 'property of the marriage' They go to spouse and a will can leave a small proportion to others. Only dependent children can claim against that. Can married ppl in the US really cut spouses out? If so, what is marriage?

Here in NC...it doesn't matter what the will says...the spouse gets a percentage of the assets depending on the length of the marriage.

It’s a revocable trust, I’m not sure if that’s good enough to skip probate and not let your wife have anything

I believe the wife is entitled to a 1/3 to 1/2 portion of the estate in Utah. A husband can not disinherit a spouse.
