Some people tell women to just have sabr (patience) with a toxic husband and say that the reward will be Jannah. We are often told to keep being patient no matter what. They remind us of the hadith where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that if he were to order anyone to prostrate to another person, he would have ordered a wife to prostrate to her husband. They also mention that if a husband goes to sleep angry with his wife, the angels curse her.
