I don’t know. Sadly, I just learned my husband has 3.5 million in accounts in another state on top of his 401k. He never told me. It was when my mom died (my father had already passed) I had to meet with my parents financial advisor because I got an inheritance, The advisor offered his services to us and I bought it up to my husband. He said we didn’t need that. I pushed back. My parents advisor offered to speak to him and I put my phone on speaker. They talked about planning and the advisor asked what he had in his portfolio. My husband didn’t answer that question. The advisor asked again but then said he could look it up. My husband said 3.5 million. I had no idea. After the phone call the advisor said “I have a feeling you didn’t know this”?. My husband has always been very cautious with money and he is very smart. I of course asked about it and said I didn’t know that, he said that’s how much we need to retire. He is now forcing me to pay our daughters college tuition and house projects. Not sure who to talk to.

My husband is a doctor and refuses to even let me see our Visa card statement. I am given a few checks out of his check book at a time for expenses for properties I manage. I do not have any passwords. He is going on a trip out of the country. I don’t know where to turn.
