You didn’t have to tell him he wasn’t going to school today. You could avoided it and just kept him busy his mind busy with other things made the day go by all day without telling him God he he’s a kid.

Poor baby. I know missing out on a field trip that you’ve been looking forward to and are so excited for is such a tough feeling for kids. Even more so when you don’t feel well. 🫂 I hope he feels better soon and maybe he and mom can have their own “field trip” when he feels better.
