@drnickdpt: Did you know pelvic floor dysfunction can be a primary driver of chronic headaches and migraines? When new patients complain of migraines and headaches that have not responded to previous treatment attempts, I immediately begin to suspect the pelvic floor. In part 2, I discuss how weakness of the pelvic floor creates tension on the connective tissue of the spinal cord and pelvic musculature leading to migraines. Please leave any questions or comments you may have and as always, reach out if you are in need of help! #physicaltherapy #pelvicfloor #pelvicfloorhealth #migraine #headache
I’m confused, bc I’ve see other videos saying if pelvic is weak you shouldn’t tighten, but do stretches that help put the pelvis back in place. How can you tell if you have a weak vs tight pelvis? Thank you!
