this seems to be premeditated: 1.) you know you will be called out for what you did the day before (not attending the meeting nor declining the invite prior {no prior notice to the team, which can be the game changer for this issue}); 2.) your phone is already recording (which seems very handy in the time being, too handy to be exact, making it seem that you already planned how the conversation will end up); 3.) your argument "there's nothing I can do" and "schedule calls after five" means you do know there's a meeting and it's your choice not to respond or give notice; 4.) your video were trimmed and edited (not showing the complete picture why your teammate became triggered maybe you said something that pisses him off and you did not include it in the video, sadly making this video kinda one sided); 5.) your argument, "this is not the first time something like this happen," with him replying,"what?" caught him off guard, implying that he doesn't know what you're talking about (maybe from your previous company, base on other people's comments, your content revolves in this kind of niche,maybe there are things that need adjustment on both parties); 6.) the smug expression you have when he found out that you're recording (this strengthens the idea of this being planned); 7.) you have sprout auto applying (implies you already planned to quit but want to stir up drama, you could quietly walk away if a job is not meant for you, no need to drag other people who work hard like you, or maybe harder), 8.) the guy seemed sorry for what he have said right after, and I think you should be sorry too in the start of the call. 9.) he's wrong for saying something bad (whatever the scenario) 10.) I hope you find the job that suits you (the one that will provide work-life balance as you captioned) and I hope employers find the right people for their company, and not just believe what they say in an interview since some just agree to get the job while others cannot speak well but are dedicated in what they do. Babe, I say this with love. You can decline but be professional. Decline but propose another time that’s within your shift. You can also request a slide shift so if it’s outside your usual shift and you don’t feel like doing an overtime, you can still attend. You can set boundaries without losing your professionalism.

Te, ikaw ang toxic 🤣 tama yung boss mo, 10-15mins is not a big deal and that was special request from you for an impt meeting, di mo pa mabigay. Doing extramile would not cost you your whole life. Imposibleng wala kang idle time for 10-15mins during working hrs, and they still pay you in full tapos hindi mo pa napagbigyan. Sana makita to ng mga future clients mo nang hindi ka ihire. 🤣

Here in Australia, even if your schedule says 1 PM to 9 PM and your boss asks you to stay 15 minutes longer, you should still follow it. It’s part of being a team player. It doesn’t make you any less of a person. Sorry, but I understand the boss in this situation. You are still an employee and you don’t own the company. Maybe if you were the owner or the boss, you could do whatever you want. But as an employee, you should follow your boss.
