If I went blind I would learn braille the next day just in case. And sign language if I went deaf, even tho I can write. Like why would you not, you have all the time of your life and it's literally one of very few tools available

It's not a different language, just different symbols for the letters, numbers, and punctuation we already use. It could also train your fingers to be more touch sensitive, which might come in handy.

I am 14. I’m not even fully blind yet and I know all the braille grade one and grade 2 is a very helpful skill to have. Maybe you should try at least learning grade one in my help you out.
