Just remember ABCDE. ASYMMETRIC, is it asymmetrical? It should be symmetrical. BORDER, does it have a faint or defined border? It should be well defined. Color, is the color splotchy or even? It should be even. DIAMETER, it should be less than a 1/4 of an inch. EVOLVING, the mole should not be evolving.

As someone who does this surgery and removes skin cancer for a living. It’s going to heal sooo well! Keep it out of the sun and use silicone scar sheets about 3 days after your sutures are removed. You can also massage the scar. You’ll never know it was there ♥️

Scar tape and aquaphor are your besties to minimize scars! Also work the scar tissue to break it up. Sunscreen is life
