Even though PT looks better in these comparisons, in motion when you are playing it looks even better. I can understand the scepticism, but the jump from RT to PT is even greater than no-RT to RT.

path tracing is like ray tracing but in many more pixels and also reflections can reflect back to other reflections with path tracing

Path Tracing works well for me up until I get to Raccoon City with Leon where the game drops so many frames when a zombies comes up from the ground
