I think our schools should be required to have a class to teach the kids where the food comes from, and it would be a required class just like math and science or whatever. I also think they should require some sort of personal finance class too. But the education system doesn’t want that and they don’t people to be able to understand and know how the world works, because then they can’t be controlled as easily, just my opinion

It’s education. I am 48 years old. I went to college in 1998 and there the college students thought all the food came from the grocery store. They did not know about the process before the grocery store.

this may be a little dark but it is what our government wants. every one including the farmer is dependent on government. smaller farm create stronger communities that take care of each other. the government wants us both waiting on a check they control in every way. the government may mean well they just are not good at it

😂Some people don't know the hours and hardwork to get the harvest from seed to harvest. Some people print their food now so good luck to them. I appreciate every farmer as I know what goes on behind the scenes 😉

Since the agrarian revolution 10k years ago, farming has been the foundation of human civilization. People have lost sight of that since the Industrial Revolution. But farming remains the foundation. This is why climate instability is concerning for the future of human civilization. Farming depends on stable weather patterns year to year.
