An extraneous thought… there is NO parking anywhere near the White House. State dinners are a stretch with people being bussed in. The number of people who will fill that ballroom would be unmanageable.

I just hope that his estate can be charged for the full damages of tearing down the historic East Wing.

What percentage of Americans will see the inside of this ballroom one time. Money could be better spent on healthcare, feeding people, education and things that will make a difference in many people’s lives.

He shouldn’t have been allowed to tear anything out until this was done in the first place. And had I known to register my complaint. I would’ve done that.

I don’t understand how he tore half the building down without going thru all this beforehand. I understand laws don’t apply to him but the contractors doing the work didn’t wait for all the proper signatures?? I’m in the contracting business and we have to make sure permits and all that are good, it’s our livelihood if we skip that part. That could be an enormous lawsuit and we know Trump takes no accountability (plus he’ll probably be dead before any of this comes to a head) so those contractors will be on the hook?? After they prob didn’t even get paid
