Stick it out! Our mini dachshund hated her crate at first. Feeding them their meals, giving treats, and playing crate training games with their toys goes a long way! She is 7 months and has been peacefully sleeping in her crate since December 😇

There should not be toys in there. Thinking the grate as the den makes a huge difference. Cover, make dark and cozy for bedtime and nap time.. Toys cause stimulation. You want to make crate a resent zone for the nervous system. Do more research.
