He pulled the driver over. The driver was Megan Stack. She said she was coming from 7-11 and going home. Officer Nelson smelled alcohol. He saw open drink containers in the car. Megan said she had not been drinking. Officer Grace Maggiulli arrived to test Megan. She suspected Megan was drunk. First, Megan took the eye test. Then, she did the walk and turn test. Megan stumbled. She did not step heel-to-toe. She also lost her balance. The last test was the one-leg stand. Megan could not lift her foot correctly. She counted wrong too. Megan’s driving, the alcohol smell, and her failed tests led to her arrest. Officer Maggiulli arrested her for DUI. Her car was towed. It would be held for 12 hours by law. Megan was taken to the Red Bank Police Station. At the station, police read Megan a statement. She refused to give breath samples. After processing, she was let go. She would have a court date. Megan got several tickets. They included DUI and refusing a breath test. She was also cited for reckless and careless driving. Other tickets were for lane violations, delaying traffic, having open containers, and no insurance card. Court records from September 19, 2024, show Megan was found guilty. She was guilty of DUI and refusing the test. She had to use an ignition interlock device for nine months. She also spent 12 hours at a drunk driver program. Fines totaled $1,230. The other six tickets were dropped. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
