My ferritin levels are low and I've been put on levothyroxine for subclinical hypothyroidism but I've noticed my thyroid levels are normal when my ferritin is normal. I feel like i shouldnt be on levothyroxine if ita my ferritin is obviously the issue.

My ferritin was 17 and I had really bad memory. I thought I had early onset dementia😅 Started with iron supplements and I'm starting to feel my old self again 👌

Girl same. They tried to gaslight me into thinking I was having panic attacks and tried to put me on anxiety meds. I left crying knowing they were wrong and something was wrong with my body. Iron sat was a 7 and ferritin an 11 by the time they finally tested me.

The nurse told me my iron levels are 5. I had to book an appointment with my dr been waiting 6 weeks for my appointment one more week to go 🫠🫠🫠

i was misdiagnosed 6 years ago with asthma when I actually had anemia. I was out on a brown inhaler that somehow stunted my growth. I love the doctor that pulled me back when she saw I was very pale and actually did some blood tests. 6 years of people just saying I'm lazy and people wanting me to climb mountains with them when I couldn't even get up the stairs. I did go up half the Eiffel tower though. I'm now 17 and recovering ❤️🩹

Yep this been me so for 4 years been so poorly bad dizzyness and all I mentioned I was told it was then had iron checked it was. A 4 iv had my second infusion and I’d say I feel 60% better may need another soon but there a joke I haven’t had a life for 4 years

My GP told me low iron cannot cause so many symptoms, even though I know my body and the I feel slightly better since I have been taking iron

Pretty much diagnosed with all that. I had blood work done today - iron is 172 and ferritin is 29.1, so does that mean I actually need to consume more iron?
