If you have a emergency you call the school office. If the child has a emergency they use the phone in the school office to call a parent. It's worked for generations

the worst idea ever. instead of educating kids on the appropriate use and embracing technology, we lock away phones and teach kids to sneak around rather than appropriate usage.

Shockingly how all of us people that grew up before cell phones and everything were perfectly fine at school without them they don’t need them. Call the school if it’s an emergency.

We survived the 70s and 80s without a phone in school. I’m sure your children will be just fine if you teach them they don’t need it 24 hours a day. If there’s an emergency, do it the old-fashioned way and call the school.
