serious question: I don't get why obsidian? you have a folder of Md files that Claude can use. you can view any md file in the IDE. you're not creating backlinks for graph views. so what value is obsidian adding? would we not be better off with a memory manager such as mem0? OR is obsidian bringing indexing and search efficiency somehow?

I use obsidian as brain, notebook for deep research and artifact generation. when I ask claude to do research, it makes a notebook, do deep research, ask questions and make a report, then exports all raw data to obsidian and ingests it to its readable brain. after confirming it remembers the context it deletes the notebook.

No, thanks. I’d rather do the research manually on the internet or use an AI chatbot and write the notes myself. I can already imagine the mess an agent could make from a single misunderstood prompt
