the best part you forgot to mention - virtually all of these use the same payment system, so your transit card works on all of them. makes it so you as a consumer don't even notice you are switching operators.

Probably have taken most of those operators in my trips to Tokyo but it’s so easy to take the trains that it’s not that noticeable when you switch operators.
