this has been happening, according to my mom whos also kenyan, back home people would apply for job through an agency or something, the agency sends them abroad for work, but sometimes they dont specify what job they will have or just blantly lie about what job the person will be put in and trick them into signing it because its in a different language they dont understand so this man ended up getting put to fight in the war between Russia and Ukraine and which he was lied to that he was getting a different different job which he ended up dying. and this has been happening to Kenyans for a while them getting tricked then dying.
