i grew up with my grandpa. i was in thailand when he passed away. he looked for me before he died. i still carried the guilt till this day. 10yrs after he passed, i dreamt of him. i woke up crying and feeling so relieved, as if i finally had the goodbye i needed. so sorry for your loss x al fatihah

Hey, same 3 days ago my grandfather passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was my only role model, he was the one who encouraged me to be the best version of myself. Gave me advice told me to graduate and g it to the best Uni. I never got to say goodbye to him, he was the one who I loved the most.

Our Eid soon will be my first year without my grandpa. Been celebrate with him for my whole life 27 years+. I thought I’m ready for this but truthfully, I am not tho. It’s been 4 months without him and it hurts me thinking he’s not here

some of my dads items are still in place even after 12 years, but yesterday we just did a deep clean of our clothings to give away before raya. i was hoping there would at least be a hint of his smell on his clothes, but it was all dusty and unused. i miss him each day. may we all be strong, keeping them alive in our memory❤️
