I personally loved how Ryan’s suit looked. I prefer the suit to come from the ring. I can’t stand how Guys suit is and that he doesn’t have a green aura around him while flying. And yes it is a BIG deal. Green lantern is known for GREEN. We don’t want a dull show and that’s pretty much all they gave us so of course we are going to complain about a dull trailer

THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! People are so exhausting man 🤦🏾♂️You literally cannot please them no matter what you do! There’s always something for them to nitpick about from their couches. The show looks promising in my opinion. James Gunn is on record saying that EVERY show and series within his DCU will have a completely different tone and style. No movies or shows will look the same visually. The choices made for Lanterns are STILL COMIC ACCURATE and people are STILL losing their damn minds. Make it make sense 😅

I want the materialized suit. I want the green aura. I am tired of grounded heroes especially when the lanterns ARE NOT grounded hero’s. It breaks GL lore and reality.

Funny thing is many of these creators complaining about suit have said how they hate marvel for making a suit just start to form out of no where like nano tech and how they want marvel to make physical suits besides it’s a teaser

The funny thing is, why are people assuming the suit belongs to Hal? It could very well be another Lantern, possibly the one whose murder they’re investigating. We just need to wait it out and see.

I love how they made a show about the green lanterns who are essentially space cops a western detective show. I think that’s a format that will allow them to tackle how space cops enforce laws better than the action tv show people seem to want it to be.

They told us what it was going to be for a couple years now. Not surprising but underwhelming first true look especially for the more visually hopeful sci-fi Lantern fans. People were hoping for some lantern aura and instead got another hbo show with dc studios label. Doesn’t mean it’s going to be a bad show… doesn’t mean it’s not there but they have to work to get some interest back

How do we know it's Hal's suit? It's prob the suit of the dead Green Lantern they are investigating. Corrupt townsfolk are prob alien yellow and red lanterns in disguise. Hence the title Lanterns since they're not all green.

I'm a little bit different. I'm complaining and I will remain to complain about a completely different thing. I won't die on the hill that they should have. just got some chump or anyone off the street that was younger play Guy Gardner and Nathan fillion 1000% should have been Hal Jordan even if they had to wait for the lantern so but I get it. he's already on a show I feel like he did a great job as guy Gardner but the wig was god-awful. I understand that he couldn't have done. an actual bowl cut cuz he was on the rookie but I feel like for a couple episodes they could have played into it. it easily could have been something that that crazy escape convict is obsessed with him would have done. they definitely could have played into it 100% and it would have worked

Agree, 100% I actually love the true detective vibes. Most of my feed is positive, but there are some real haters out there. I don’t know if they’re just anti-Gunn but I guess we’ll see how good the show is in August right now I’m hyped.

We’re not even sure this is how suit in the closet either that was never specified for all. We know that could’ve been Alan Scott’s suit or the flight suit when Hal first got his ring and it changed his physical suit when that happened because if you look at the Earth one comics that’s what happens too I agree with you. People need to wait before they judge something. it’s a fricking teaser trailer it’s not gonna show much.

Not a single good argument 😭the suit hanging is only accurate to the first year of the characters existence. 1 year after Hal was made it became a construct & has been this way for 65 years. Also the problem with Ryan was that it was overdesigned & the cgi was bad. Also as for the green aura, idc but ppl didn’t like guy not having an aura back then & ppl still don’t like it now. (Idrc bout the aura tho icl). Also there are way more complaints than that 😭Hal 60 is terrible

I been reading green lantern comicbooks for years the original suit was took off of a dead abin sur and put on which is crazy and gross the ring creating the suit like in later issues is cooler and a gritty cowboy show isn't green lantern green lantern is star trek mixed with star wars and guy wasn't the main focus in superman is why no one talked about it green lantern looks better with green aura

My personal opinion with the suit having it hanging up breaks the reality of the GL suit. Guy’s suit even though it’s practical we don’t see it laying around so for all we know he materializes it with his ring. Also guy has the GL colors black green and white. I just hate all the damn brown in this trailer. I don’t really care for the green affect when flying I do think when they fly in space they should have the green aura. Last why tf are they in fuck ass Missouri
