Didn’t they do a test where the icon ratchets was actually better than snap on in performance so changing the internals to snap on would actually be a down grade?

I did the same on the ICON but I just swapped out the anvil & left the Icon guts in there. Pittsburgh one works great with the tekton small body conversion kit.

I just did it to thr same exact ratchet. works perfectly. snap on dealer actually gave me a hard time to buy the kit from him because he said he didn't "agree" with it and doesn't "condone " it. lol. fuck snap on. I honestly think he didn't wanna sell it to me because the parts were a perfect fit, he'd have to admit that snap on and icon are the same tools with minor changes. I fuckin love icon for the quality and price. bought a 73" bottom, workstation top with stainless and 2 lockers, 1 on each end and filled it with every icon tool I could in last 2 years and im still under 20,000 with every tool I need in a high volume repair shop.

So would it work if you took the 1/4 snap on kit and put in the g2 there with that face plate to upgrade the g2 or does it not make a difference?
