@mrsclarehoops: Easter DIY decorations- scrappy but surprisingly lovely. Save this if you fancy giving it a go. ⸻ DiY Air dry clay ingredients - I make this in batches so it doesn’t dry out • 120 g cornflour • 120 g PVA glue • 10 g vegetable • 10 g white vinegar ⸻ how to make the clay • Mix everything in a bowl • Stir until it comes together • Knead for 2–3 minutes until smooth • Roll out in grease proof paper and oil the cutters to cut shapes • Leave to air dry for 24–48 hours ⸻ decorate • Cut small pieces from a paper napkin • Glue on with Mod Podge • Let dry • Add a coat of clear nail varnish for shine • Thread ribbon to hang #eastercrafts #springdiy #airdryclay #handmadehome #craftideas

What would you substitute for the clear PVA glue? Or do you have a brand recommendation that is available in the US? I would love to try this recipe. I usually purchase branded cold porcelain clays and make flowers. The mix is so the petals can be paper thin and flexible. Here’s a small bouquet I created of David Austin Roses recently.

Helllooo! 🥰 If you put cling film on the top and push the cookie cutter down, you will get soft pillowy edges and it won't stick to the cutter. 😁
