I mean… a low single handicapper makes 8 out of 20 puts at 8 feet…. Soooo if you added 8-12 strokes for your 8 foot gimme putt circle. Kinda adds up?

sim golf for me is just about keeping the swing going through the winter. dont take much out of the scores. only put 3 foot gimmes and shoot around 80 indoor. still working on breaking 90 outdoors.

Agree, you never lose a ball! It begs the questions that ball spotters should be banned from professional golf. You would see a lot of higher scores!

Telling me you got a hole in one on the sim is like telling me you knocked out Mike Tyson on Nintendo Wii.. I drove the green on a par 4 last night a foot from pin made eagle (in gimmi circle). Normally I’d be ecstatic… hardly cracked a smile 😅

golf swing is 100% muscle memory. we train our muscles to repeat our swing time after time if we take a 3 to 5 month break for winter then that muscle memory is lost. so sim golf is to keep ur muscle memory on point the score is not the goal .

I won my sim league last year and got 3 hole in ones during the course of the playoffs. needless to say I didn't rejoin this year lol I'm a 12, but once I figured out the sim I regularly shot under par with 6 foot gimmes. The sim is only good for getting ballpark carry and spin numbers but you gotta keep the "hitting off a mat" factor in mind, better for figuring out gapping than your actual yardages and that's only if your sim has reliable numbers.
