The Boris Bus should be retrofitted with Airconditioning Units. Khan just hates the fact they are called Boris Buses and will spend millions of pounds to replace Buses that have plenty of life left in them.

The design was beautiful, by far my favourite of all double deckers on the road, but the insufficient air conditioning is definitely an issue. If they also have reliability/maintenance problems it makes total sense to replace them

Thing is you can just take the engines out and stick in a hydrogen engine and that’s surely much cheaper than having a whole new bus commissioned?
