I'm single too, but when I wasn't single, it would still be my dilemma. My partner never worried about those things. As a whole, you should get your boiler serviced. At least every yeah, IM sure by law, and you should have one of those detector things as well. So that's not a bad shout to get one of those. with everything we just have to trust the process.And if he had A\nGood references , and that's where you can go by single or not xx

Was he registered Gas Safe that's the only way you can be sure , it's a registration thing to prove they're 100% genuine, if he says no get one that is Period

He sounds quite honest. Look him up see if he’s registered gas safe and then book him in for a yearly service of your boiler. 60 a year for a service and peace of mind.
