Love point 5 ; sometimes just having a safe space to say “this is what my brain is saying to me , even if its wrong/not true” so someone can understand whats going on and how our brain works. Even if it’s not always pleasant whats happening up there!

Can relate to this massively. I rely on naps because normally when I wake up I feel a lot more calmer, but also if I’m upset it’s a way of me passing time quickly without spending time overthinking

the sleep one is so insanely true. it feels like all my symptoms of BPD are on MAX when I don't get at least 7hrs or sleep. always try to make sure my bf knows how it impacts me and how important it is i get uninterrupted sleep

I love doing number 4. but be careful and ask yourself if this can be avoidant behavior, my therapist said as long as it’s an intentional decision that doesn’t cause harm (for example shifting the sleep schedule) it’s a good way to regulate. He suggested to maybe try and only sleep for 30 minutes like a power nap to reset the nervous system 😌🫶🏻

I always put my phone very far from me when im mad and when something happens i just keep telling myself to not respond because ill regret it later and then i put sad songs so my anger turns into sadness and i can cry because afterward id be relaxed then i go and sort things out, i do this with all type of rps, its like my little ritual to help me maintain my rp lol
