No, cause why is the silent feature an option for the alarm to choose 😭 it JUST happened to my fiance yesterday where we both woke up to my 7am alarm but his 6am alarm was silently going off right next to his face 😭

there was an update that made it so sounds won't go off if it doesn't see your face, which unfortunately meant alarms too 😭😭 there's a way to turn it off. it's in accessibility under "face id and attention" and you should just be able to switch it off if you haven't already. i hope this helps i hate not waking up to my alarms 🫡

My phone did that so often one month I ended up getting an actual alarm clock and set it across the room so I cant snooze it. 😭

I literally wake up in a full panic right before my alarm is supposed to go off because it’s been going off quietly, I’ve not adjusted the volume or anything it just randomly stopped being loud & I’m so paranoid about my schedules that I freak out when it’s time for my alarm to go off bc I don’t wanna be late 😭
