@sarahgracethreadco: Ever have one of those embroidery moments where everything looks perfect… until the puckering shows up? 😅 I was so excited about this shirt, but the puckering is real and I know my embroidery friends understand the struggle. Running my machine is usually the most relaxing part of my day, but sometimes it turns into a learning moment instead. I’m stitching on a 100% cotton shirt with a thin satin stitch, and clearly something needs adjusting. Stabilizer? Tension? Hoop tension? I’d love to hear what works for you. That’s one thing I love about the embroidery and maker community — there’s always something new to learn and someone willing to share advice. 🧵✨ If you’ve dealt with puckering before, drop your tips below! I’m always trying to improve my embroidery so every piece that leaves my machine is something I’m proud of. #embroiderytutorials #embroiderymachine #newhobby
If it’s that dry fit style fabric I find no matter what you do that fabric will do that. Ive even tried sticky stabilizer which I hate to use on clothes and still did that.

Water soluble topper and no show mesh cutaway stabilizer, it can also be how it was digitized ☺️I have learned a lot watching Embroidery legacy videos on YouTube

I used a comfort colors shirt because I was told it has a thicker material. I used two layers of cutaway mesh stabilizer on the back and a water soluble stabilizer on the front and it worked good!

It seems like a stretchy fabric… float it instead and use a piece of paper on the upper part. Maybe it will solve the problem. The stitching itself is good

Personally don’t think it’s anything your doing, could be the digitizing itself . What type stabilizer did you use and is that a tee or sweatshirt?

Starch your shirt first, use 505 spray adhesive to prevent the fabric from shifting. The starch makes it firmer for the embroidery to be more stable while embroidering.
