The LCS was basically built from the start in order to fight an Iran war.

The LCS ships have been largely been "fixed"(long term durability is still dubious) and have been getting deployed more frequently. The modular weapon systems are still the LCS biggest failure and although some improvements have been made and still are being made its far from its intended capabilities.
