The issue is that generational wealth allows you to make mistakes without consequence. They might work hard and probably do but when you have unlimited resources and connections it makes it a lot easier

As someone who’s followed Grace for 10+ years I don’t think it’s fair for you to call her a fraud. She’s acknowledged her privilege in interviews and she hasn’t lied about her background. if you follow her you know how much care and attention she puts into her businesses and products and yes she was able to take risks due to coming from a more financially stable background than others but her businesses truly thrive due to her own hard work

If this is Grace, the girl went to Oxford fgs and started building there. Family wealth and connections help yes but it would be silly to deny that she is *smart* - many rich people fail in business

Tbh I’ve never been this biggest fan of Grace/her brands in the past, but I must say that has changed recently as I’ve watched her use her platform to passionately speak up about important topics like human rights and politics. That deserves massive respect IMO

If this is about Grace, she has repeatedly acknowledged her privileged upbringing and that her opportunities were abnormal, she doesn’t claim to be ‘self made’. She works incredibly hard, and minimising her achievements doesn’t do anything for anyone.

There is literally documented evidence on her YouTube of her building her business up from scratch. I’m not denying that she has privilege, but her YouTube Vlog literally showed you making her first ever Grace fit guides and bands. she has been able to scale up her business in an organic way. This coming from money probably help and has given her insight the most don’t yes but do not diminish her hard work when there’s documented evidence. just because someone doesn’t agree with your take does not mean that they are cult fans.

I really like her, think she’s great BUT I find it frustrating when she talks about having to raise money for uni fees. That is just not how Oxford works if you’re in financial difficulties.

I see where you’re coming from (and I don’t consider myself a fan of hers) but she’s always been very transparent about her background and privilege. Saying she built her brand on a lie of omission isn’t true. And you can’t deny that she’s clearly put in the work. She even put herself through Oxford and didn’t get financial help from her parents. Credit where credit is due, as cringe as the whole “she-EO” brand is, she worked for her success.
