Hey!! If you’ve followed me for a while, you were probably around since the early days, but seeing as I’ve gained a few new faces, I figured I would reintroduce myself! My name is Ciera and I’m 26 years old, live in Des Moines, IA (born and raised) and am a practicing physical therapist! I got my start online posting cheer and gymnastics videos on YouTube with my sister and cousin. We grew to over 2 million subscribers and posted on that channel from 2011-2021. Was so hard to stop posting, but our hearts just weren’t in it anymore since we’d all retired from our respective sports in 2017-2018. I’ve wanted to be a PT since high school, and even though I was gaining traction on social media, I knew I still wanted to continue down that path. Social media was for sure helpful for paying for my schooling though! Graduated with my DPT in 2022 and started living the postgrad life, got my first job, suddenly had extra free time now that I wasn’t studying. With my extra free time I picked up a few new hobbies, started intentionally making new friends, and got a dog! After a few years I envisioned a different path forward for myself that would allow me to work for myself, make my own schedule, and even focus a little more time back on social media media. So I started my own PT company, picked up some PRN gigs and have been trying to make it work since January of this year! It’s still a learning process, but I feel like I have the most balance in my life than I’ve ever had, and I want to help others do the same!
