@edmmusicig: 16 years ago, Stromae released “Alors on danse”, the breakout single that introduced the world to his unique blend of electronic production and storytelling. Released in September 2009 as the lead single from his debut album Cheese, the track quickly became a global phenomenon, reaching No. 1 in more than 18 countries across Europe. Built around a hypnotic house groove and its instantly recognizable synth hook, the song stood out for pairing dancefloor energy with brutally honest lyrics about the pressures of everyday life. More than a decade later, “Alors on danse” remains one of the most iconic electronic crossover hits of the 2000s. #edm #edmmusic #electronicdancemusic #dj #stromae
