I LOVE blanched veggies. Blanched asparagus is awesome with a caramelized onion dip, and blanched green beans are perfect on cold sesame noodles.

My Romanian Grandma was a phenomenal cook but in her 90s the doctor said she can’t cook with salt anymore. She explained to us that we would now have to add salt to her food, as she did, after she cooked it…she was following doctor orders lol
