@calmmoneycoach: The 5-Step RRSP Meltdown Framework Everyone teaches you how to save. Nobody teaches you how to spend it in retirement. I sat down and built the framework I actually use when working with clients. Five steps. Works whether you have $400K or $2M, whether you are single or a couple, whether you have a pension or not. 1. Find your floor 2. Pick your ceiling 3. Do the math 4. Choose the destination 5. Pace it right The mistake most people make is not having a plan at all. The government has one for you at 71. It is not a good plan. All numbers are 2026 Ontario tax rates. Next video I walk through three real situations using this framework. #rrsp #retirementplanning #canadianfinance #rrspmeltdown
This is so important. I built a few scenarios that take into account all this guys comments and know my sources of cash in and out covering next 25 years to max tax efficiency and end of life transfer of wealth

I’m new to all of this but it seems like if the government is going to make it this confusing they should provide free workshops and financial consultants to walk us through this stuff.

Can I invest my own RRSP? I have direct investing from my tfsa. It’s RRSP to something I’d like to invest in not the bank investing for me. My tfsa is tapped out for contributions. Ontario Canada

Hey! I contributed to my RRSP on Feb 2025 and claimed it in my 2024 tax return. I want to amend my 2024 tax return to remove RRSP contributions and carry it forward to 2025. Is this allowed?
