@southpawpolitics: I know first hand how off-putting the bigotry label can be. It makes me very angry when I’m accused of anti-semitism for not towing AIPAC’s line, when I think the accusation is anti-Semitic. #democrats #jasminecrockett #jamestalarico #texassenate #midterms2026
The racist accusations against talarico voters is so absurd as if most of these voters didn’t vote for kamala and colin allred less than two years ago.

I think some of these “never Talarico” accounts are not coming from Texas Democrats.

i mean one of crockett’s main faults is that she couldn’t recognize that she needed a broad coalition (including republicans) to win in a trump +14 state and her supporters brand of 2019 era khive identity politics toxicity just alienated even more people from her so she has them to thank partly

a creator posted the percentages of the demographics that voted in the race, and Talarico had the majority (<90%) of Hispanic and Asian voters, and all the comments were like “we see where yall stand” or “ofc they don’t support black people”. it’s like what’re we doing bro

Without doubting that most of the pro Crockett accounts constantly accusing talarico of racism are genuine, I’d be completed unshocked to discover that many are actually republicans trying to discourage democratic voters

You have a real gift for picking up on unsaid dynamics and then challenging them - like the “identity politics reductionists”. I’m also skeptical of the people pushing them because both candidates really had great things to offer. Thank you for your content, please keep it up.

if black democrats are unwilling to support the democrat nominee simply because he beat a black woman, then it’s time they reconsider their allegiance. it’s about time the democratic party stopped relying on identity politics and started prioritizing genuine socioeconomic policies that advance the working class and society as a whole. no more performative kneeling and wearing traditional african tribal scarfs

i dont think lefties are supporting Stratton. She is pretty weak for progressive positions within the field but the media has been trying to push her as a progressive choice. I would say a true reform candidate will not come from a Dem serving for 10+ years, and unfortunately the 6 candidates Left of Stratton did not consolidate. I personally voted for Kevin Ryan who is at the top of the Illinois ballot statewide, who I believe is sincere with his campaign finance and worker reform proposals

Excellently said. Thank you for addressing the online community whose message may have been more harmful than helpful — especially if they weren’t knocking doors and making calls. Tweets don’t vote!

So funny that republicans have to do nothing. The infighting works as it’s intended to.

I agree with this video, but why do people keep saying that James got republicans to join his side or even needed to? I feel like it’s proven repeatedly that trying flipping long standing republicans is kind of a wasted effort. It swingers and non voters that need to be convinced. Also I disagree with the supporters aren’t their candidates claim to an extent. Crutches&spice made has consistently made a really insightful point about this that even though that is true technically, from a communications standpoint, people absolutely do represent the campaign they support to a substantial degree

I feel like we're having parallel crash outs today lol I posted two videos about this stuff - I am convinced it's a psy-op and many of those accounts are bots. and that there are real people picking up on that malicious messaging and spreading it. But those accounts that are posting all day - dark money intent on preventing change in both the Democratic party and in the American political environment in general by causing division and distrust. I'll die on this hill lol

pause. he's not going to crush it with the Texas black vote. have you listened to them yet? they don't like the assumption they will fall in line and support him. I'm not saying all is lost but that's an actual pain point and social dynamic that must be addressed to get the Texas black vote. and it is the Texas black vote. black folks in other states move completely different.

I’m so glad you mentioned those accounts. They’re around the clock attacking us black leftists on Twitter. Has to be multiple people behind each account w the frequency they’re posting
