it’s not that he’s got mental illnesses or what he experienced, it’s how he deals with it. it’s how he lives. he’s so awkward, timid, quiet, innocent, shy. the way he can’t do well in social places. the way he can’t easily make friends. the way he cares for people more than he does for himself. especially with that scene where his first friend in school is his literal teacher. it’s crazy because i experienced the same thing. the first person i talked to in 6th grade wasnt my friends, it was my english teacher. he’s literally me it’s driving me insane.
