PvP players want to encounter pve players for easy loot. Pve players won’t even fight back because they are immediately punished and put into more aggressive lobbies just for defending themselves. PvP players need pve players, not vice versa.

I keep hearing “authentic ARC Raiders experience” over and over—and honestly, it’s starting to feel like a way to justify forcing everyone into the same playstyle. Not everyone plays this game for the same reason. Some players enjoy the tension of PvP, sure—but others are here for the survival, the looting, the atmosphere, the progression. That is the experience for them. Calling PvE “boring” doesn’t make it objectively true—it just means it doesn’t fit your preference. What’s confusing is… you already have PvP lobbies. You already have spaces where that high-risk, high-reward gameplay thrives. So why is there this constant push to drag PvE-focused players into that same loop? At some point, it stops sounding like “this is how the game is meant to be played” and starts sounding like people want easier targets—players who aren’t geared or interested in fighting other raiders. That’s not about preserving the game’s identity… that’s about controlling how others play. The reality is, a healthy game supports multiple playstyles. PvP, PvE, hybrid runs—each one brings in a different kind of player and keeps the ecosystem alive. If you narrow it down to one “correct” way to play, you don’t make the game better—you make it smaller. Let people engage with the game in the way that keeps them coming back. Because the moment players feel forced into an experience they didn’t sign up for… they just stop playing altogether. And that’s a much bigger problem than someone choosing not to PvP.

This video is what you get when pvp doesn’t have easy kills from pve players anymore… if you PvP and you’re crying about aggression based match making, it’s 100% because of a skill issue.

I'm going to be honest, pvp players are the only ones who will complain if they switch to 2 modes. we all know PvE players complain all the time, but pvp players literally go the extra mile if they can't rat on PvE players and would cry

It only works on solos, me, my wife and my buddy kill no one and don’t shoot back, in solos it’s 100% friendly, as soon as we play doubles or trios it’s all aggressive

If Ya’ll don’t grow a skill to PVP, then you’ll always complain. We don’t search for PVP, we only fight if we have to. If it was a “PVE based” game, deal to damage player wouldn’t exist. But it does, which is PVP. Cry.

Just add a switch to where you can't damage or be damaged by players. Just like cross play. That way pvp can only hurt pvp. no need to come up with new lobbies

I have been rage commenting about this for a while lol. I couldn't agree more, it ruined what made the game feel so fun when I started playing. Stopped playing because abmm made the game boring. Started playing marathon and haven't looked back.
