Being in rooms with people I’ve admired for years, hearing gems from legends like Viola Davis and Samuel L. Jackson, and witnessing that level of excellence up close was something I’ll never take lightly. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. And honestly, some of the best moments weren’t even caught on camera .. like meeting Keke Palmer, which was easily one of the best moments of my life.💖 The perfect way to close out Black History Month and step into Women’s History Month with one of my favorite women. 🖤 But here’s the thing… this moment didn’t just happen overnight. Over the next few diaries, I’m basically dropping a time capsule of everything that led up to me being at the NAACP Image Awards this year, the creative projects, the networking, the sets, the opportunities, and the people who helped shape the journey.
