i already looked into that story. its not as it sounds, but also its still impressive. if i recall right it was just a small section of the road and with the robots doing just some of the work.

we've had this technology with oshkosh for over a decade. They just don't want to use it. You overlay with drones to get the mapped plans with lidar, and then the rest runs autonomous. I really thought by now we would have had a use case, but guess not. This was in the works like I said almost a decade ago though.
