My husband who is also very bad at emotions and took a while to understand how to talk about issues and stuff is still a wonderful husband. I am very emotional so at first the dynamic was hard but we both took the effort to figure the other out. He’s supportive, he shows me he loves me, etc. sometimes I will have to ask or remind him to help with small stuff but overall he puts in the effort. Him being bad with emotions and other stuff is not an excuse.

Me, as an emotionless person, could never be with an empath. I get very uncomfortable when people want to talk to me about feelings. I can't show any feelings either, it feels wrong, not good and I want to crawl into the next hole and be alone. 😅

I totally get this, I'd be pissed too if someone I'd been with for years ignored my needs despite multiple open conversations and only showed a desire to work on it after they got a taste of their own medicine and the partner decides to leave. And her reaction isn't over the top. She explained and she is giving him a chance, but is letting him know she will leave if the change isn't permanent
