In some cars (mine included) you have to plug up the usb port to utilize the CarPlay. Thats what this tool is for. I have wireless Bluetooth but not CarPlay, so this way I won’t need a cord to connect it

Hey yall so if you didn’t know u can’t use CarPlay without ur phone being hooked up to the charger the adapter he’s showing us isn’t car play it uses Bluetooth to substitute for the charger so u don’t have a long cord in your way but most cars have Bluetooth so if u were bothered by the cord that much just use the cars Bluetooth it wont have like gps and u wont be able to change the song on the screen but i fear this is a waste of money 😭😭

Okay I got a new car and it has BT but not car play, how does this work, does your car have to have a form of CarPlay for it to work or can it connect via Bluetooth to the vehicle? I just don’t want to buy and it not be compatible.
