My Tesla is better than any ice car ever made, it's just a fact. Technology, performance, cost of running, quiet enjoyment of the drive, space, cost to run, interior space..... The list goes on. Everyone loved their horse a cart until they bought a model T. Get with the times.

Combustion engines cannot be twice as efficient. 100 years of development a they get to 70mpg at the absolute max. They will not reach 140 unless we drive in much smaller cars made of carbon fibre.

We drive to the south of France every year, the toll fees are a lot, so I agree with you with a hybrid as I've done it, but only once in a hybrid. A hybrid is actually not very efficient compared to a diesel

My EV is charged with solar panels. That's both free and durable. And it's not all about climate, but also about air quality. Fumes from ICE can be reduced but never eliminated.
