On the last point, I think young women are less interested in men because they have seen women be placed into the dual role of caregiver and breadwinner. Having a man in their lives will only add pregnancy risk and extra labor to a life that is, as you discuss, already very difficult! Speaking as a young woman myself

I dont know how *you* arent feeling like this. If "more transparency is destabilizing" then the fucking thing needs to be destabilized. The people NEED to know what kind of evil shit people in power get up to. This mentality of "maybe we shouldn't air people [in power] dirty laundry because it's destabilizing" feels a lot like white people going "our kids shouldn't be taught about slavery because it makes them feel bad"

I'm from the Netherlands, and 10 years ago, I was able to buy a house right after I finished school. 10 years later I more than doubled my income but live in a house I would not be able to afford if I would have to buy it today. I fear for the future of my kids because even people from my generation who haven't had a house by now, are not even able to afford one now.
