Honestly what bothers me is that ilyas reactions where he constantly chirps shane about this is so ooc and genuinely only bc rachel doesn’t view it as an ED which it clearly is and if she had labeled it that and fleshed shane’s character out properly then she in turn would never have made ilya treat him that way

I hate how Rachel purposely tried to write him in a way that makes him seem like a bad boyfriend to Ilya while inenvertently making him one of her most well rounded and complex characters. Dont get me wrong,I adore both Shane and Ilya but her favoritism grosses me out sm.

Shane’s ED wasn’t talked about enough and that honestly irks me. I felt so bad for Shane throughout the book, and yes I know that the book focused around their relationship, and ilyas mental health struggles but I feel like there should maybe be a part in another book that focuses on his struggles. I feel it would help may people who struggle with not only just Ed like Ana or bed but it would also maybe help those who struggle with the same that Shane does.
