Found this beauty *i colourised it it was originally in black and white* of i believe my 5th great grandmother and her son..this is crazy to be because this is not only my 5th great grandmother but also a woman born in the 1700s. She was extremely rich thats why i have a photo of her i sadly do not know who her parents was all i know is her name was mary emma mapleson and she was from tuxford Nottinghamshire and she married a stonemason from ketton Rutland

The rush. I was cleaning a frame I had from my nana with my dad in it, and behind the photo was a photo of my great grandma. We hardly have any photos of her. Incredible!

A while ago I was at the state library where I live researching and trying to find more photos and a librarian was helping me and she started getting all excited and was like oooh I have this picture here I think you’ll love, she shows it to me and she could like see my face go a bit funny and was like what’s wrong and I was like yeah so I actually have the original of that hanging in my living room. She was shocked and was so confused on how they would’ve even gotten the photo copy to begin.
