Do you think it’s easier for you to like kimchi because German food has similar fermented food like sauerkraut? I love both. I have eaten kimchi in Hawaii and Okinawa, Japan. It’s not easy to find where I live in the US.

I'm American, but my ancestors are German and Jewish, but I love kimchi, any fermented veggie. also clamato juice mixed with beer has a similar flavor to the kimchi, it's good! Giardinera is good too
